When Christianity Forgets Humanity

When Christianity forgets humanity,

the heart of God is missing.

When everything becomes spiritual, the balance of the real fades.

The gospel risks becoming a ledger of wrongs and faults,

rather than a song of grace and mercy.

To see only spirits, and not the image of God in each soul,

leaves hearts striving for heights

only the cross has ever reached.

When all is spiritual, grace remains unseen.

The spiritual world is real.

So is this world we live in.

To love someone through the heart of their pain, to meet them where they are, this is what gospel work is about.

Good news is not weaponizing oppression. It is tracing its source, and responding with care, not judgment.

I have watched souls oppress,

and souls become oppressed,

when chasing demons replaces following Jesus.

Not everything is spiritual.

Sometimes it is flesh, it is blood, it is life.

Life happens.

Good and bad.

And the war that matters most

is won in love.

Reaching people in their humanity, this is the work.

And in the end,

it will not be how deeply we searched for darkness,

but how faithfully we carried light

into the lives of others.
